Banned from China. Stuck in UK.

Everyone keeps having to ask... "Where IS Audrey?"

Those who know me better and gets constant updates from me would expect me to be back in Beijing, China by now. But, no, I'm not there. I am, as the title says, banned from China and stuck in UK.

Are you wondering what am I doing in Beijing and London? Why am i going BACK to BEIJING instead of Malaysia?

The story goes...

My parents are working in Beijing, China. So since it's my summer holidays, I am to stay with my parents there for as long as I can before Yr2 starts in Sept (1-3 months).

During my stay, my mom and I are to follow my dad to London, UK, on a business trip. He worked while we holidayed. The trip was supposed to be from 14-23 June. Yesterday at the airport, the airport personnel found that my china visa is expired and that I cannot reenter China.

WHY didn't we check or know that my visa's expired beforehand? It's a long story that I'm too lazy to tell here. But it's not a stupid reason. We were informed by a credible source that I could get back in etc.

So, here I am, stuck in London. My dad has gone back to China, but my mom stayed back with me. Thank God we got a church friend (Nicholas Yee) here who we am staying with in the mean time.

What to do?

We have no idea.

We have 2 options.
1. GET me a China visa (I have already purchased my London-Beijing and Beijing-KL flight)
2. Send me straight to KL which will cost my family a bomb.

China visa option has proven to be really difficult. We lined up at the China visa place for 3 hours this morning and STILL couldn't get in (Olympic's fault). Anyway, we found out that since I am not a UK student or have any sorta big shot status, I'll have to apply for the China visa from my home country. So since i'm stuck here, that's impossible, and it just points to option two.

Well, that's the update for now. I have no idea when I'll be back in Beijing and/or China.

You may have good intentions, but pls..
1. Do not call. It is too expensive for me to answer.
2. Do not sms asking how I am or for my whereabouts UNLESS you can be of REAL help. Eg. Got real useful contacts that'll help me get my China visa, free airline tickets London-KL, a free accommodation for my mom n I while in London from the 25th June onwards etc.
